1. Claimbot
Claimbot is triggered when it is mentioned in a Mastodon toot. It extracts URL references from the toot and forwards them to a claim logging process. In our prototype, Claimbot is also responsible for forwarding this extracted metadata to the claim network's community log.

2. Verification Service
The verification service confirms the academic affiliation of social media profiles.

3. Claim Logging Process
3.1 Summarization Server
The summarization service accepts requests for metadata extraction and uses a Zotero translation server to find metadata.
